\"OLYMPUS<\/a>…Wedding…of a perfect couple…on a perfect day…in beautiful Charlottesville, Va.\u00a0 My neice Mairi and her husband Leigh were\u00a0united in marriage\u00a0last Saturday at the Fat Cat Farm, located in the rolling countryside\u00a0at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains\u00a0\u00a0 Although it had rained for a few days leading up to the wedding, the sun came out Saturday and as we waited for the bride to\u00a0appear, we\u00a0basked in its’ warmth.\u00a0\u00a0Spring is so special\u00a0as\u00a0everything is coming alive again and\u00a0brings its’ own color and scent, especially after a good country rain. \"OLYMPUS<\/a>I can’t begin to tell you how I felt when I saw Mairi\u00a0walking to accept her new\u00a0beginning with her soon to be husband. There was a gentle breeze that brought the scent of honeysuckle with it, as chamber music accompanied her down the isle. \u00a0This truly was a marriage made in Heaven and also a wedding day,\u00a0made in Heaven.\"OLYMPUS<\/a>\u00a0As vows were exchanged, \"OLYMPUS<\/a>\u00a0the love they have for each other was very apparent.\u00a0 The reception started immediatley after the ceremony \"OLYMPUS<\/a>\u00a0with the Mother of the bride, my sister, \u00a0looking very relaxed that everything went so well and that the weather had co-operated.\u00a0 \"OLYMPUS<\/a>\u00a0Shortly after these pictures, the reception moved into the Barn, where the festivities continued.\u00a0 Also, shortly after these pictures, the battery light on my camera blinked that it was empty, so I apologize for the lack of pictures\u00a0of the\u00a0continuing reception, but more so, that I do not have good pictures of the newlyweds to share.\u00a0 It was a great day, a day where two families united as one, and it was a day I will always feel privileged to have been a part of that family. Congratulations Mairi\u00a0and Leigh, may every spring breeze remind you of this memorable day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
