I’m happy, my computer is up and running again.\u00a0 That wasn’t too bad…took\u00a0it to MMD\u00a0Computers one day and got it back the next.\u00a0 When the technician\u00a0called\u00a0regarding the\u00a0problems,\u00a0he enthusiastically told me\u00a0 my hard drive was good.\u00a0 By the tone of his voice, I figured I was really lucky and breathed a sigh of relief, not sure what for, \u00a0but felt a sigh would be the appropriate reaction.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Actually had it been a\u00a0 bad hard drive my sigh probably\u00a0would have been a lot deeper, only because any sentence with bad in it is not good.\u00a0\u00a0Your hard drive is bad, ugh..\u00a0I have bad news, oh no…\u00a0your brakes are bad, so soon…\u00a0your dog was bad, again… your boys were bad, not mine…so\u00a0you see, \u00a0good is good.\u00a0 I found it amazing how much a part of my life the computer is.\u00a0 I\u00a0caught myself many times going to the empty space on my desk, and feeling lost.\u00a0 Now what do I do?\u00a0 I\u00a0did\u00a0go \u00a0to Ken and Lory’s and used their computer for a little bit. \u00a0 Not having a computer is like not having the car for a day.\u00a0 You think of all the places you should go, or could go.\u00a0 Well, I had a car and\u00a0Lory and I decided to do some shopping and wound up in the wrong shopping center.\u00a0 So many shopping centers it is easy to get confused.\u00a0 However it was meant to be.\u00a0 I think we both saw it at the same time,\u00a0 “The Original Brooklyn Water Bagels”.\u00a0\u00a0 Brooklyn Bagels!!!\u00a0 You have to be from the Northeast Metropolitan area to realize what it is like to move south, where the bagels and \u00a0breads\u00a0are different.\u00a0\u00a0 They are \u00a0good, but not the same.\u00a0 It has always been said that the water is different and that is the reason.\u00a0\u00a0 Well like any problem you have in the Villages, \u00a0it is solved.\u00a0 Brooklyn water is available, not only for bagels and muffins, they even sell bottled water.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 We made a beeline into the store and were not disappointed…if you closed your eyes you would have sworn you were in Brooklyn, \u00a0and if you closed them real tight you might even think you saw the Brooklyn Bridge.\u00a0 They sell bagels and muffins, but the menu of bagel sandwiches was the highlight for us.\u00a0 Although it was lunch time and the place was hopping, we were really surprised that they said they had been\u00a0open for\u00a0eight months.\u00a0 We couldn’t even call this a best kept secret because it was so busy.\u00a0 I have to thank a wrong turn and a sick computer for our find, and it just goes to say, once again, there is always something to be happy about.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
