adj.: pleasing to the eye,\u00a0 collog.: extra good, \u00a0syn.: attractive, lovely.\u00a0 I don’t think\u00a0I have ever used the word as much as I have since I moved to The Villages.\u00a0\u00a0 Occasionally\u00a0I would remark that something was beautiful, but it seems that I am always thinking that lately.\u00a0\u00a0Who\u00a0wouldn’t think it going over the bridge to Lake Sumter Market Square\u00a0or\u00a0walking around \u00a0Spanish Springs Town Square,\u00a0 when entering the Recreation Centers, or\u00a0how about the Sales Office or the new\u00a0furnished models, the\u00a0Country Clubs.\u00a0\u00a0I think we would all agree that there are many \u00a0things\u00a0that are pleasing to the eye,\u00a0extra good, and\u00a0attractive and lovely.\u00a0I was recently amazed at how many times I actually thought this in a matter of 15 minutes.\u00a0 It takes me 15 minutes to get from\u00a0my home\u00a0to the Mulberry Sports pool.\u00a0 I can travel Morse Blvd to El Camino to Buena Vista or I can ride through Tierra del Sol, Santo Domingo and El Santiago to get to my destination.\u00a0\u00a0It was when riding through those neighborhoods that I found myself saying, this is really beautiful.\u00a0\u00a0The rain has been very good for all our golf courses, ponds and landscaping and\u00a0we come to expect that\u00a0of our amenities. However,\u00a0 more than that it is the way\u00a0each resident manicures their property.\u00a0\u00a0As I drove along\u00a0 I\u00a0never saw one\u00a0errant blade of grass and\u00a0 all the mowers must be\u00a0 set at the same cutting height.\u00a0\u00a0 You look down street after street and it\u00a0is a continuous carpet of green.\u00a0 It must be resident pride and I think you have to agree…it’s beautiful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
