{"id":94,"date":"2012-01-07T05:07:07","date_gmt":"2012-01-07T12:07:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bestvillageblog.com\/?p=94"},"modified":"2013-02-25T10:48:46","modified_gmt":"2013-02-25T15:48:46","slug":"lost-and-found","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bestvillageblog.com\/?p=94","title":{"rendered":"Lost and Found&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every once and awhile, when I am out and about, I will see a golf cart pulled to the side of the golf path, and the individual or individuals are digging through their golf cart looking for something.\u00a0 Normally the passenger is digging fast and furiously through her purse, and the driver is checking the floor and glove compartment for whatever they are looking for.\u00a0 Whenever I see this I can&#8217;t help wondering what they are looking for..what would be in her pocketbook that would be in the glove compartment, floor or bag on the back of the\u00a0cart.\u00a0 I also wonder about the conversation they are having.\u00a0 Is it friendly and supportive, or&#8230;\u00a0here we go again.. kind of conversation.\u00a0 I recently read that if you lost something, and I guess if you found something, these are the steps to take.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Depending upon where items are found, inexpensive items will be held for 15 days at La Hacienda or Laurel Manor Regional Recreation Centers. Valuables immediately will be turned over to the Lady Lake Police Department, Sumter County Sheriff&#8217;s Office or Marion County Sheriff&#8217;s Office. After two weeks, unclaimed items will be donated to local charities.
